My first released game working on a big company. Our team focused on the production of the game targetting an iOS release.
The game was developed using C++ and gameswf in around a year along other 35 people on the studio and also working closely with teams from all around the world providing feedback, music and porting to other devices. My personal tasks were:
- User progression (level ups, achievements, titles, badges, rewards...).
- Match-making system, with a hidden ELO rank model.
- User interface code written on AS3. We organized the fla files along with the artists, then the artists would put their assets and finally I wrote the code for both the .fla and the code for binding the UI to the game on C++.
- Made changes on the game engine to make important improvements, specially on the fonts module.
- Several different tools for artists and designers.
- Created a tool that took a .ttf font file and outputted an excel file with all the characters, their names and their their utf codes on them. Written on python
- Worked on an online tool that served to manage the questions, events and user generated content of the game. It was done on html/js/php
- These are not the only tools I made, there are several more, these were just for showing some examples.
